Release of a Key Visual for opening the website
AMOEBA ENERGY opened the website and released the key visual, which represents our image on the ultimate soft-bodied robot to be developed in the future. The crawler belt of the robot consists of numerous air bags, called "cells," which not only shrink passively to fit to the shape of the ground but also expand positively to overcome complex profiles of the ground, enabling to adapt to the versatile and varied environments. The cells deform to change their friction against the ground, making it possible to adjust the balance between the turning performance and traveling speed. The "body" of the robot to load luggage is created with air bags as well, so that it can hold arbitrarily-shaped luggage gently. Such an "inflatable robot" will make us feel safe and comfortable both mentally and physically, making it easier to be integrated into our lives. However, the material of the air bag should meet both the stretchability and durability, and would require the innovation in the future.
Renewal of the logo
Synchronized with the opening of the website, we renewed the design of our logo to express the dynamics of the single-celled amoeboid organism, which has been the research subject of our CEO, Masashi Aono. The dynamic image of the amoeba that deforms arbitrarily symbolizes the world view that is represented in AMOEBA ENERGY's mission "Mobilize Everything."
